Tender care is service
Mata Kaushalya's care for Shri Ram shows how ordinary acts become service of God:
Ramcharitmanas, Bal Kand, Chaupai 1.201.1
The mother bathes Shri Ram, adorns Him and lays Him in the cradle, then bathes to worship the family's chosen deity. The temple schedule carries this same care through bathing, adornment and rest.
