धैर्य, धर्म, मित्र और स्त्री—इन चारोंकी विपत्तिके समय ही परीक्षा होती है। वृद्ध, रोगी, मूर्ख, निर्धन, अन्धा, बहरा, क्रोधी और अत्यन्त ही दीन— ॥४॥
