# Bandau Guru Pad Kanj

Bal Kand · Invocation

> बंदउँ गुरु पद कंज कृपा सिंधु नररूप हरि।  
> महामोह तम पुंज जासु बचन रबि कर निकर॥ ५ ॥

भावार्थ: मैं उन गुरु महाराजके चरणकमलकी वन्दना करता हूँ, जो कृपाके समुद्र और नररूपमें श्रीहरि ही हैं और जिनके वचन महामोहरूपी घने अन्धकारके नाश करनेके लिये सूर्य-किरणोंके समूह हैं॥ ५ ॥

Meaning: I bow to the lotus feet of my Guru, who is an ocean of mercy and is no other than Śrī Hari Himself in human form, and whose words are sunbeams, as it were, for dispersing the mass of darkness in the form of gross ignorance. (5)
